What is Minecraft?

Minecraft is a game where players dig (mine) and build (craft) different kinds of 3D blocks within a large world of varying terrains and habitats to explore.

In this world the sun rises and sets as players go about their work, gathering materials and making tools. There is rain and the occasional lightning storm, and animals that players can tame, farm or use for food. Depending on which mode players are playing on, players might also need to fight for their survival against hunger, danger and bad guys.

Despite the similarity of a world made of simple low-res blocks, the game really isn’t like playing with online Lego... it’s like building something out of Lego after you made and moulded the plastic and dyed it with plants that you grew yourself, and then going on an adventure inside it through forests and deserts while monsters are chasing players.

If players are having a hard time understanding what the game's all about, it might help to think of it less as a game and more as a toy. There aren't a lot of preset goals or steps to take - what kids do with it is really only limited by their imaginations. But here's the basic idea of what it's like to play Minecraft....

When you start a game in survival mode, players are standing in a random spot surrounded by trees, grass, snow, mountains or water. The sun will be in the sky and players might hear the gentle sounds of animals nearby.

A player's first job is to find and punch down a tree to collect wood, which a player can turn into planks to make a crafting table. This allows the player to convert your leftover wood into a pickaxe, so that the player can start digging down into the ground to collect coal and cobblestone. Once the player has those you can make some torches and better tools and weapons, which will be very important in protecting the player from the creatures that come out in the night... speaking of which, that player needs to hurry and make some kind of shelter before that sun starts to set. That's day one in the players Minecraft world, which is about 10-20 minutes in real time.

The next few days players will be busy building a more substantial house to protect themselves from the monsters, putting together a furnace for smelting, finding sheep so they can make a bed, crafting tools and weapons, making chests to keep all their stuff in and securing some kind of food source so they don't die.

After that, now that they're getting good at keeping themselves alive they might spend some time exploring caves and mining for valuable ores. Or maybe they love fighting monsters and start building elaborate weapons and traps. players might even go off on an adventure to find villages and temples and abandoned mine shafts, or decide to build a city or start a farm. The opportunities and decisions start to become endless, limited only by a player's skills and imagination.

About Harambe

Harambe was born May 27, 1999 in the Gladys Porter Zoo in Brownsville, Texas. He was named by Dan Van Coppenolle after the 1988 Shanachie song "Harambe (Working Together for Freedom)" by Rita Marley.  Harambee is a Swahili term for communal labour. On September 18, 2014, Harambe was transferred to the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden to learn adult gorilla behavior and join a new social group.

The Incident

On May 28, 2016, a three-year-old boy visiting the Cincinnati Zoo fell into the moat at the Gorilla World habitat. Witnesses said they heard the child say he wanted to go into the gorilla enclosure. The boy then climbed a 3-foot-tall (0.91 m) fence, crawled through 4 feet (1.2 m) of bushes, and then fell 15 feet (4.6 m) into a moat of shallow water. Zoo officials immediately signaled for the three gorillas in the habitat to return inside, and two females did so. However, the third gorilla, the inquisitive 440-pound (200 kg) male silverback, Harambe, climbed down into the moat to investigate the child splashing in the water.

Over the next ten minutes, Harambe became increasingly "agitated and disoriented" by the screams of onlookers. He dragged the child through the water, occasionally propping him up when he sat, or pushing him down when he stood. Harambe exhibited "strutting" behavior — walking around with legs and arms stiffly extended to appear bigger — a bluffing move, though one with inherent danger should he throw or drag the boy around too roughly.

Harambe then carried the boy up a ladder out of the moat onto dry land. Afraid for the boy's life, zoo officials made the decision to kill the gorilla, doing so with a single gunshot. Cincinnati firefighters said the boy was between Harambe's legs when the shot was fired. Harambe was killed one day after his 17th birthday.

Annie was born on December 5,2004 in Georgia. She is currently 11 years old But turns 12 years old in December, she is about 95 pounds; And is currently 4’11.

Annie Grace LeBlanc, a Georgia native, is one of the trio that makes up the YouTube channel Bratayley. Her brother (Caleb Logan LeBlanc) sadly died of a medical condition leaving Annie and her sister Hayley. She is also a talented gymnast who is training level 9 at only 11 years old. Her popularity grew independently of her siblings when she began posting videos on Musical.ly under the name presshandstands7. In the earlier years when she just started experimenting with social media you would have seen her under the name acroanna on YouTube.And their family Youtube name is “Bratayley”.

On October 1st, 2015 her brother caleb died from a heart condition that was undetected on his yearly checkups, but he died of Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.Caleb was the oldest in the family and was dearly loved.Tomorrow will be October 1st, 2016,1 full year without caleb.

My Little Pony is a TV show

My little pony was an old TV show in 1986 that was shut down but reposted because the people who run it wanted to make a newer one for modern kids. The newer and updated version of My Little Pony came out in 2010. My little pony was created by Hasbro Studios and Lauren Faust. But Lauren Faust quit the show because hasbro was what she called “Shifting her Creative Freedom.”

The main characters in this show are Twilight Sparkle who is the “main” character, Applejack who is the Apple farmer, Pinkiepie the party pony, Rainbow Dash the cool one, fluttershy who is the shy animal pony, and Rarity who is the fashion designer. The 5 most popular Characters are Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and Princess Luna who is the princess of the night This show has a Big Audience of Girls and Boys, boy mlp lovers are Bronies. This show is getting more and more popular because so many more people are turning it on every day. The show has been gaining more and more popular.

My Little Pony was Inspired by My Pretty pony which is a 10 foot tall figure that could wiggle its ears, wag its tail, and wink one eye, the illustrator Bonnie Zacherle working with the Sculptor Charles Muenchinger they build the figure.

Maddie Ziegler, is an american dancer, actress, and also a model, who achieved lots of attention at an early/young age. Maddie was born September 30, 2002. Maddie, is mostly known for being on the tv show Dance Moms. Some people might know her for being in the music video Chandelier with Sia as well as the music video  Elastic Heart.She has gained millions of views on social media.

Maddie was born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Maddie is of Polish,German,and Italian descent. Maddie has been dancing at the Abby Lee Dance Company since she was the age of two. Labrador Retriever

All dogs are different and there are all different types of breeds and there is 3 types of Labs yellow,black, and brown.

The Labrador Retriever, one of the most popular breeds in the world, was originated in Canada. They were known as “St. John's water dogs” in the 19th century when they worked with Newfoundland fisherman to retrieve lines and lost fish. The Black Lab became an official breed in the 1700’s.

Before labs where dogs to play with and have as pets the Labrador Retriever is a retriever in the class of Sporting dogs. They are considered a 'flushing' dog that will retrieve the game for the hunter once down. They are generally used to hunt both upland game birds and waterfowl.

A energetic and friendly home is the best for a lab because they are fun and playful and love to be around everyone. They also love all the attention and are very loving and will snuggle up to anyone, at the same time will protect you. Being cooped up all day. Before you think about getting a dog you may look into how long the life expectancy is well a Labrador Retriever's life expectancy is 10-12 years.

About The Bernese Mountain Dog

The Bernese Mountain Dog was a working dog back in the day. They were used as farm dogs. This breed was originated from the swiss mountains in switzerland. The Bernese Mountain Dog became an offical breed in the year 1937.

The Bernese Mountain Dog is a big and fluffy dog. It is mostly black but has brown and white mixed in. They need a lot of exercise or they will get bored and get stressed resulting in bad behavior. They are good watch dogs but you need to give them your time and love.

The type of home bernese mountain dogs need is a house with a big back yard to play in. They need a owner that is active and exercises a lot. The typical life expectancy of the bernese mountain dog is 6-8 years. The bernese mountain dog can have from 1 to 14 puppies per litter with the average litter being around 8 healthy puppies.

WHAT IS MYTHOLOGY?

A Myth or mythology is often a story told by a particular race  such as Indians, Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, norse and others. They are especially linked to religious beliefs and rituals ( like murder and sacrificial killings). Rituals were believed to invoke a type of magic that would aid the growth of crops, insure success in war, help achieve prosperity or make choices and promote stability in the land and protection.

If nothing else, when people thought that the gods favored a venture, they approached it with a positive attitude that in itself sometimes insured success. Songs, poems, and stories help to explain how people acquired basic things like simple speech, fire, grain, wine, oil, honey, agriculture, metalwork,etc just to make sense of things and it also helps people to believe there is something bigger up there.

Mythology also originated from Greece.  In Greece two poets, Hesiod and Homer, started mythology. That was not an easy job but they did it.

Gods and Goddesses were also important in Greek mythology. Zeus was the God of Gods as well as thunder. Hera  was the wife of Zeus and sister of Zeus. Poseidon was the god of water. Hades aws god of  the underworld.  Hestia was goddess of family hearth and domestick life.  Athena was the goddess of reason, intelligent activity, arts and literature. Finally,  Artemis was  goddess of  the hunt, the moon, and the natural environment.  

Another culture that used mythology as a religion is Egyptian. Ra was the main sun god and Amun was King of the Gods.  Anubis was son of the Underworld gods Osiris and Nebthet. Aten was the Sun god and another form of Ra. Atum  earth  god, Bastet was  goddess of warfare and Bes  protector of households. Hapy was the flooding of the Nile.

            Our last culture that has Gods for a religion is norse

Odin was  the head of the Aesir gods as well as the Norse god of war, poetry, wisdom, and death.Thor was the Norse thunder god as well as the main enemy of the giants, and was the son of Odin. Loki was a giant in Norse mythology. He was also a trickster, the god of thieves, possibly responsible for Balder's death. Balder was an Aesir god and was a son of Odin and Frigg. Balder was the husband of Nanna, father of Forseti. He was killed with mistletoe thrown by his blind brother Hod. and finally  Freyr was a Norse god of weather and fertility; brother of Freya. The dwarves built  Freyr a ship, skidbladnir, that can hold all the gods or fit in his pocket. The Greek and Roman Gods worshipped by the two nations had similar roles and duties. However, their names were different. The religion of the Romans differed in some respects from that of the Greeks, in as much as it was emphatically a state religion. It was more of a ritual and a ceremony. It included most of the deities of the Greek Pantheon, but was more comprehensive. It accepted the gods of all the nations that composed the empire, and placed them in the Pantheon, even Mithra, the Persian sun-god, and the Isis and Osiris of the Egyptians, to whom sacrifices were made by those who worshipped them at home. The Roman religion was more practical and less poetical than the Greek religion. Every Roman god had something to do, some useful office to perform. Several divinities presided over the birth and nursing of an infant, and they were worshipped accordingly, for the benefits which they were supposed to bestow. There was an elaborate "division of labor" among them. A divinity presided over bakers, another over ovens. Every vocation and every household transaction had its presiding

Roman gods and goddesses.

Bernese mountain dogs are hard working family dogs. They are very intelligent. They need a big yard and lots of exercise so they don't have bad behavior.

How Many Cat Breeds Are There In the World?

Cats are a really popular when it comes to house pets. People always seem to go for tabby cats, siamese cats and the more common cat breeds. But what they don’t realize is that there are many many more cat breeds than they think. As of 2016, the International Progressive Cat Breeders Alliance had counted 73 cat breeds. More breeds are still possible, so the exact number of  cat breeds could never really be exact. Other animal associations have said that there are 58, 44, and 43.

According to various websites, the three most popular cat breeds are the Persian cat, the Maine Coon, and the Exotic cat.All cats are loved equally, but it seems that these ones specifically have great personalities and make great companions.

Depending how the mother or father were bred, if the mother and father were both bred the same way, there will most likely be 2  that look like the mother, yet one will be male and one female, same as the father. So, it all depends on if, or how the parents were bred.

When a kitten is purebred, it will grow to have highly predictable traits. This means that if you get your cat purebred when it is young, as it grows, its mind grows, they will grow to have good traits, and traits you wouldn’t expect a cat to have.

Cats are really easygoing and loving. People of all ages can benefit from a cat's friendship and love. Cats show much loyalty and love being around their owner. Cats are just fun in general, playing with them can relieve stress or anxiety. Cats are very intellegent, they somehow learn your “routine” and have a way of telling you that they are hungry.

About the Red Heeler  

The Red Heeler is an Australian cattle dog that  was used for gathering cattle and leading them in their barns or over long trips on foot.The breed was originated from Oceania, Australia. The Red Heeler was first discovered in Australia in the mid 1800s. Other names for Red Heelers are Australian cattle dogs, Australian heeler, Hall’s Heeler, Queensland heeler, Australischer Treibhund, and ACD.

The Red Heeler has rusty/red colored patches and the rest of the body is either white,gray or a rusty red color they usually have brown or hazel eyes and sometimes blue.  The red Heeler or the Australian cattle dog first became a breed in the year 1980.  Red Heelers are usually really fast because they need to be able to herd cattle.

If Red Heelers don't get enough exercise they will start to have  loudly and obsessive barking and have destructive behaviors.  But Red heelers are good watch dogs and   a good family dog.  Since Red Heelers are cattle dogs they might tend to nip at the family members ankles and or might herd them.  Red Heelers are solid, sturdy and compact dogs with an alert, ready-to-work stance.  

Red Heelers will test members of the family during adolescence and must be handled with firm, consistent leadership.  These adapted  dogs can learn and do a great deal in the right hands, but they will run right over helpless owners.  Red heelers life span is about 13 to 15 years.

Red Heelers are really fast, good family dogs, very intelligent, and needs a lot of exercise or the dog will have excessive barking and bad behaviors. The red heeler needs to have a big yard so the breed can exercise. Red Heelers are now family pets and some are still herding cattle.    

Dogs And Wolves Evolved From Common Ancestor, Dog Domestication ‘More Complex’ Than Previously Thought Dogs and wolves ancestor existed between 9,000 and 34,000 years ago.

Studies say  wolves were more closely related to each other than dogs suggesting that modern dogs and gray wolves descended from an older common ancestor.

“This is an incredibly rich new dataset, and it has allowed us to carry out the most detailed analysis yet of the genetic history of dogs and wolves,” said Adam Siepel, associate professor of biological statistics and computational biology at Cornell and a co-author of the paper said.

“There still many open questions, his study moves the ball forward.”

Their common ancestor was a prehistoric wolf that lived in Europe or Asia anywhere between 9,000 to 34,000 years ago.
